Design Group has partnered with a leading consulting company to assist them in their search for an of Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their Power team in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
· Provide design engineering for new facilities and upgrades to existing facilities
· Resolve engineering design issues
· Develop project scope documents, estimates, and project proposals.
· Supervise small project teams, direct the work of technologists, drafters and other consultants
· Prepare and review construction drawings and materials specifications
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in pipeline/ oil and gas projects
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering with relevant Canadian experience
· Registration with APEGGA or being eligible to register
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and additional knowledge in CAESAR II or AutoPIPE desired
