Engine Room Operators / Utilities Singapore
Reports to: Maintenance Department
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out duties, in support of maintenance operations, as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent or Chief Engineer, in a safe and efficient manner.
Principle Functions of the Position:
Assist with all maintenance activities on mechanical or other equipment, as directed.
Ensure that workshops, work areas, tools and equipment are always maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
Assist other departs as required.
Safety Critical Functions
As a member of the Emergency Response Team, to be thoroughly familiar with individual duties and team duties.
Experience Factors
Minimum 2 years offshore experience.
Previous experience of Marine maintenance work.
Previous maintenance experience on high-pressure hydrocarbon processing plant.
COMPETENCE CRITERIA
Academic Achievements / Certifications
Good literacy (English language) and mathematical skills
Mechanical apprenticeship or relevant training program
Offshore Survival with HUET
Demonstrated Knowledge / Skills
Good knowledge of mechanical plant and equipment, and maintenance routines for such systems.
Understanding of requirements of the PTW system.
