GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include: Maintenance and repairs of electrical systems on P&H 2800 XPB/4100 XPB/C shovels, 830 E’s, 930 E’s, 795F-AC and T 282B electric Haul Trucks. Other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years electrical experience in open pit mining preferred
• Experience with PLC’s, motor control circuits, HV cable repairs preferred
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems on P&H 2800 XPB/4100 XPB/C shovels, 830 E’s, 930 E’s, 795F-AC and T 282B electric Haul Trucks preferred
• Ability to read electrical blue prints and utilize test equipment preferred
• Ability to utilize basic hand tools required
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Cortez management required
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records required
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
