We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Mobile maintenance team who will be operating out of our Mineral Sands processing plant in Pinkenba, Brisbane. This role will be responsible for supervising a team in providing electrical and mechanical maintenance services for operations within the QLD region and the dry mill operations.

Your primary objective will be to provide effective direction to a mobile maintenance team including up to four maintenance fitters and an electrician whilst ensuring all departmental goals relating to safety, plant availability and utilisation and continuous improvement strategies are achieved.

Key responsibilities include;
- The supervision of preventative maintenance campaigns at both our Pinkenba operation and other regional QLD sites
- Assisting with the development of maintenance standard operating procedures
- Ensuring all quality systems are maximised and procedures, manuals and relevant reference documents are maintained as required
- The development and implementation of maintenance strategies for the QLD region
- The management of contractors as required
- Working to ensure positive and effective working relationships are fostered and maintained between the maintenance crew and the wider operations

To be successful in the role you will have relevant trade qualifications as well as experience and knowledge of Mining/Processing plant environment preferably with machinery such as pumps, conveyors, Hammer mills, elevators, sizing screens, ball mills, dry mills or mineral sand separation equipment. You will have strong Microsoft office suite skills as well as significant experience in preventative maintenance, condition monitoring and maintenance scheduling.

You will have the ability to supervise a team that is living away from home (during the working week) and plan and organise multiple work tasks as well as a methodical approach to tasks and strong problem solving skills
