Description

• Planning activities associated with ore bins; grinding mills; conveyors; thickener; leach, cip, cyanide detox and tailings circuits; tailings disposal; SO2, O2, reagents, and compressed air systems; domestic, reclaim and porcupine lake water systems; refinery equipment and all other equipment included within the mill and tailings dam areas
• Schedule maintenance activities in conjunction with operations, other maintenance departments, contractors and other stakeholders
• Co-ordinate with the maintenance, operations, and materials management groups to maximize efficiencies and reduce cost
• Provide support to asset management initiatives in an effort to achieve world class standards, measures and success
• Acquiring a detailed knowledge of Work Management, Budgeting and Cost Management, and Master Data Management processes etc.
• Review and manage quality of history details in Ultramain in accordance with the work history process
• Communicate with Supervisor(s) and external resources during the planning process, including verification of asset details and scope of work
• Develop, maintain or modify standard job tasks for work that will be completed in conjunction with maintenance stakeholders
• Participate in weekly scheduling meetings
• Update planning details and adjust schedules following scheduling meetings
• Produce detailed timeline for major shutdowns and projects, and update as a result of monitoring performance to the plan

Qualifications

• Tradesperson or 5 years experience in applicable equipment and work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer skills, proficiency with Ultramain and Microsoft Office programs
• Capable of locating, reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals
• Competent understanding of isolation procedures in the workplace
• Competent understanding of site permitting system
• Capable of working in a safe and efficient manner without supervision
• Previous experience and ability to work as a team leader or supervisor
• Knowledge and practical experience of working within OHS legislation
