Our client is a major Pipeline Company who is a leader in pipeline innovation and is known to have set many of the standards for the industry. Their system transports high-energy, rich natural gas and NGL’s from northeastern British Columbia and Northwestern Alberta into its terminus located in the Midwest US.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The Maintenance Analyst will provide support to Canadian and U.S. pipeline operations with effective maintenance and resource planning, scheduling, and analysis.
As an integrated part of System Optimization and Effectiveness and the Technical Services Team, this position will have the responsibility to work closely with the Equipment Managers, NRGreen Operations, Pipeline Integrity, Corridor Management, Health Safety & Environment, Engineering & Construction,
Information Services, and Supply Chain Management to facilitate effective planning and provide applicable analysis. A key responsibility is continuous improvement with the focus on optimizing maintenance practices and execution in alignment with the Asset Management Vision and Philosophy. In addition, the Maintenance Analyst will explore areas of improvement and lead change initiatives for improved efficiency, performance, operability, safety and the reliability on our client’s equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Work closely with all departments to ensure accurate and timely acquisition and creation of SAP PM required data.
Ensure alignment of preventative maintenance activities with the APL Asset Management Vision and Philosophy and Corporate Objectives.
Creation and maintenance of Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plans for assigned business partners ensuring correctly triggered within SAP for successful implementation to Field Operations.
Generation and distribution of various analytical reports and performance monitoring for review of maintenance requirements and schedules.
Act as a key contributor in the design and implementation of SAP PM functionality.
Interface with Field Operations ensuring adherence to Work Order Management Process and data quality as specified in Standards and Guidelines documentation.
Work with Equipment Managers, Business Leads, and Area Planners in optimizing PM Plans to enable efficient resource planning.
Coordinate with Equipment Managers for maintenance plans tasks, schedules and bills of materials (BOM’s).
Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the pipeline industry. You will be process oriented, and a strong supporter of the team concept and during your career have developed the reputation as a mentor and a leader amongst your team members. You will have strong maintenance systems experience specifically in SAP and knowledge of pipeline operations, equipment and facilities. Ideally you will have supported engineering project work and can read engineering drawings.
Compensation/Remuneration:
Our client offers a compensation package which includes base salary, two solid bonus programs and many other offerings to compliment the compensation package.
