PURPOSE
The main responsibility of the SAP trainer is delivery of SAP technical classroom training with a focus on BHP Billiton Petroleum's business processes and how they are applied in the system. SAP trainers support one or more functional areas across the Petroleum business in multiple locations. Therefore, the trainers must be able to travel globally and in some cases to offshore facilities. Additionally, the trainers assist in system and process coaching, development of supplemental reference materials and logistics associated with scheduling and tracking attendance. The overall goal of the trainer is to reduce time to productivity and to maximize successful use of the SAP system. The SAP trainers report to the Training Supervisor and work closely with the Data Process Leads.
