POSITION DESCRIPTION Mill Maintenance Planner AREVA Resources Canada has an opportunity for a Mill Maintenance Planner to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate, who has excellent communication skills and good work ethic, would report directly to the Mill Maintenance Senior Planner. Efforts and Demands of the Position: · Ability to learn and utilize SAP and utilize Microsoft Office. · Ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding environment. · Highly organized with an emphasis for detail. · Strong verbal and written communicative skills. Duties and Responsibilities: · The primary responsibilities, of the position, is to conduct maintenance planning and initial scheduling of future maintenance repairs. · Work closely with Maintenance Personnel to trouble shoot equipment failure and investigate root causes. · Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulating authorities. · Responsible for compiling equipment data sheets and specify material requirements. · Identify resources (equipment, components, personnel, drawings, etc) required to complete a job and ensure the availability of resources prior to scheduling. · Update equipment Bill of MaterialsBOM's as required. · When necessary assist in scheduling of daily maintenance work using the SAP Capacity Planning for Mill Maintenance with the assistance of the Supervisors and General Supervisors. · Evaluate trends and identify cost saving opportunities through equipment modifications, material substitutions etc. · Ensure that the library consisting of equipment files is current with vendor data, drawings, WO history, BOMS, and facility changes. · Complete other duties as assigned. All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. · Applicant must have either a technologist or industrial trade background. Preference will be given to an Electrical Engineering Technologist or an Instrumentation Technologist. · Strong electrical/instrumentation aptitude. · Strong computer skills with CAD experience an asset. · Excellent communication skills and good work ethic is essential. · Knowledge of preventative Maintenance strategies an asset.
