Job Summary: This position is located in Anadarko's Vernal, UT office as a member of the Rockies Region Regulatory Affairs Team and will primarily support the Greater Natural Buttes' efforts.   Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for this position should have strong project management skills, strong communication skills, and a functional understanding of local, state and federal regulatory programs.
- A minimum of one year of Federal and/or state regulatory agency permitting experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with State Oil and Gas Commission, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Indian Affairs permitting is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Work with other offices within the field and Corporation to ensure operational compliance of state and federal regulations.

- Ensure that projects are developed in compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory programs.

- Provide strategic planning, tactical execution and cost control measures to meet regional goals.
- Coordinate efforts by internal multi-disciplinary teams and contractor workforce to develop projects within the region to meet business objectives.
- Organize and maintain reporting tools to keep management and stakeholders regularly apprised of operational compliance, project status, milestones and potential challenges.
- Represent Anadarko at local, state and federal agency interactions.

Education:
Bachelor's degree  in Science, Engineering, or an industry related field is preferred, or 4 years of relevant experience.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

Relocation:
This position is not eligible for domestic relocation.

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 10 - 20%

Work Schedule:
This position typically works Monday - Friday.
