Our client's name is synonymous with leading Mining Construction projects. They have a superb portfolio of work and have enjoyed outstanding growth as a result of their reputation, high quality projects and commitment to strategic expansion.

With their latest addition to their national portfolio, this particular project requires the expertise of a Contracts Administrator. This role is of the highest urgency as the project is now moving into the construction phase. As you will be FIFO of central QLD, you will be apart of a multi billion dollar underground mine expansion. The key responsibilities will include providing support to the contracts management on the negotiation of the tenders and the contract packages.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be encouraged to demonstrate autonomous work, negotiation skills and excellent communication skills to contractors / senior management.

Skills/Experience Required:
Demonstrated experience in tendering and management for site contracts
Ability to apply project procedures, administration and inspection of systems as appropriate
Led bid review meetings with contractors and maintained accurate records.
Assisted with monthly reports and various other reporting mechanisms.

You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, in engineering, business or law, along with relevant experience in a Engineering or Construction Management (EPCM) environment. It would be beneficial if you have had exposure to contracts management/administration in both the engineering office and site.
