CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR FOR MAJOR EXPANSION
(Temporary - Approx. 18 Months)
QMAG is seeking a Contracts Administrator to operationally manage all facets of contract administration for the expansion project at the Parkhurst Processing Plant. This is a temporary position contracted for a period of approximately 18 months.
QMAG is a magnesite mining and processing company currently expanding its Parkhurst magnesia processing operations. The $38million expansion will involve the installation of a third Multiple Hearth Furnace (MHF) and associated milling, upgrading, storage and logistics infrastructure.
The successful applicant for this position will have a minimum of 10 years project/construction engineering experience, project scheduling and contracts negotiation experience. Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline are desirable however, other qualifications may be acceptable. You will also have demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply in the workplace Australian or Equivalent Standards, Cost Control techniques and a demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Management Information Systems, experience with MIMS/SAP/TODAY would be an advantage.
