Contracts Administrator –Major Commercial/ Retail/ Industrial

Our valued client is a well respected Mid-Tier Construction Contractor whose services include; project management, specialist design services, construction management and full Design and Construct (D&C).

The groups ongoing project committments have led to a specific requirement for a Mid/ Senior Level Contracts Administrator with major Commercial, Retail, Industrial and associated Civil Infrastructure, projects expertise.

Reporting to the Project, Construction and Commercial Managers the primary purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate administration and financial / contractual outcome of the project.

Specific responsibilities of the role include;

Financials – Objectives / Systems /Budgets / Cost overruns / Reports - Monthly / quarterly.
Head Contract – Administration / Progress & Monthly claims / Delay Claim records
Subcontract – Scope Of Works / SLA Process / Documentation approval / Progress Claims etc
Liaison with Site Team / document distribution / Project Insurances / Quality System
General administrative duties; i.e. Drafting / typing general correspondence and e-mail.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a recognised tertiary degree in; Building, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or similar, optionally supplemented by a Trade qualification, with at least 5 years D+C experience on above projects, the ability to read / understand plans and sound knowledge / understanding of entire Tender process, construction methods & costing.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to exhibit or demonstrable track record of; High-order oral / written communication skills / Ability to build long term relationships with key stakeholders / Rapidly identify issues and implement effective solutions / An inclusive & consultative approach and an ability to work in teams.
