Duration: 12 months

Our Perth based client is seeking contracts administrators to join them on contract, working on their world class LNG project. This project will be of the largest ever resource projects in Australian history.

As the Contracts Engineer/Administrator your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Drafting Subcontract Approval (SAF) forms including contributing to the development of contracting strategies
• Undertake Contractor Pre-qualification including preparation of Pre-Qualification Report
• Draft Bid documents, Invitation to Bid, pricing schedules, special conditions
• Manage the Bidding process, site visits and issue of addenda
• Coordinate and document the Bid evaluation across disciplines
• Prepare commercial evaluation
• Draft recommendation for Award (RFA)
• Prepare Contract documents for execution
• Post award administration
• Claims management and negotiation
• Contract close-out

Experience:

• Contract formation role on a resource project, preferably with an EPCM
• Commercial negotiation, terms and conditions, schedule and price
• Formal contract administration experience, preferably multi-discipline civil, mechanical and E&I
• Experience with various contract formats, lump sum, schedule of rates and reimbursable
• Experience working with direct Client contact
• Oil and gas industry preferred but not essential

Other:

• Good communicating skills, verbal and written
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office, with some exposure to other computer based systems
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
