Santos is an Australian based oil and gas exploration and production company pursuing an ambitious growth strategy. Currently embarking on a ground breaking project in Queensland, investing over $7.7 billion, we’re developing a world first LNG plant in Gladstone which will turn coal seam gas (CSG) into liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Working within the GLNG Field Development team, the primary responsibilities of the Technical Administrator is to provide technical support to the immediate team whilst supporting and maintaining in house applications and third party database management.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Loading well data, providing software support and maintaining relevant databases Maintaining, reporting and plotting production data using relevant applications Assisting in implementation, population and overseeing of relevant databases 3rd party database management for field data Providing geotechnical support to personnel in the team as may be required Providing backup support for other technical administrators within the wider team Document and literature searching The ideal candidate will have attained a further education qualification in a technical discipline and will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite alongside demonstrated capability in geotechnical IT applications and software. Experience in the upstream petroleum and/or CSG industry will be highly regarded but not essential. The position required regular liaison with internal and external teams and stakeholders so effective communication is a must. This is a Brisbane based role.
