The Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) Program is the most challenging and innovative Defence Project in South Australia and also one of the largest Defence Projects nationally and we are now looking to appoint an experienced Document Administrator to join our Configuration Management team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Working within the Configuration Management team this role will assist with the control, administration, coordination and release activities for all administrative, technical and manufacturing data. Ensuring that data availability supports the schedule requirements of all engineering and production departments coupled with the recording, storage and dissemination of data to internal and external customers are all important aspects of this role.
The successful applicant will need to have a sound understanding of data management principals and experience in an administrative environment. Data entry into in-house document administration system and configuration management system are a large part of this role. An ability to achieve objectives on time, effectively work on multiple tasks in order to meet program schedules are also important for this role. Any understanding of configuration management systems and technical background in an engineering environment would also be looked on favourably.
Applicants must also be eligible for Australian Department of Defence security clearance.
