POSITION SYNOPSIS

Reporting to the Coordinator Finance (Credit/Market/Product Risk), you will be responsible for providing functional risk management activities for the respective commodity Trading and Marketing Units (TMUs).

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

•  Conducting credit assessments on third party non-financial institution counter parties and recommend as per the current credit delegation matrix

•  Facilitating review of credit risk exposure reports and conduct follow up investigation

•  Facilitating continuous review of credit risk management with proactive provision of credit-related information on customer, industry and country

•  Conducting daily reviews of credit related information from public and paid information sources and ensure relevant commentaries are disseminated to stakeholders

•  Facilitating generation, collation and follow up on key credit risk management reports to management

•  Compare daily exposures against position limits, transactional limits, and value at risk limits, TMU stop loss limits, annual cumulative loss limit, fair value impact review limit and loss review limits. Report any deviations as a reportable incident.

•  Update forward price curves on a daily basis.

•  Report financial performance and exposures using managed Profit and Loss and exposure bookmarks.

•  Review and validate the Profit and Loss and exposure results against the prior day's results and the Daily Transaction Sheet while ensuring full understanding of key exposure and Profit & Loss movements.

•  Provide ad-hoc price risk support to TMU management.

•  Acts as the single point of accountability for market risk management across TMUs in Asia Pacific or EMEA regions.

•  Review and provide recommendations to the relevant authority on TMU submissions on non-standard deals and new product/market requests (including limits) considering all aspects of price and credit risk.

•  Conduct independent investigations on price risk and credit risk related incidents and deliver incident reports in order to ensure appropriate management oversight of authorisation and control failures and to facilitate key learning's from such failures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience in accounting/risk/finance/audit or related field is required. A Bachelor's degree in Risk / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Business or related discipline is a prerequisite.
