The Company is organized through a global commercial group responsible for sales and delivery of Cliffs products and a global operations group responsible for the production of the minerals the Company markets. Description

Responsible for all Quality Assurance testing, as well as Transition Planning and support. This position is the validation that all procedures were followed to standards set within the company. The analyst should apply proven analytical and problem solving skills to validate and execute test scripts. In addition, all documentation has been provided to support all audit requirements. In addition, all other duties as assigned.

• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders

• Perform tests as defined to validate development efforts

• Review projects to assure that deliverables are complete

• Coordinate with Change Manager to assure changes are reviewed at the weekly change management meeting in a timely manner

• Monitors Infrastructure performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation

• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.

• Assist in the development, establishment, and enforcement of quality assurance measures and testing standards for Infrastructure and Application components, products, and/or enhancements to existing Infrastructure and Applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.

• Assist in the selection and appropriate usage of automated test tools and data collection tools.

• Work with Operations to enhance and support change control processes, practices and guidelines.

Transition Planning and Support

• Ensure that all required approvals, user reviews and tests are obtained.

• Assist in the preparation of a 'Software Migration Request' form and submit to the appropriate systems administrator.

• Notify 'requestor' when changes are installed.

• Coordinate quality assurance testing of new access.

• File change control and quality assurance documents appropriately.

Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 5+ years of IT analyst.
