An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Underground Training Officer to join a high profile Australian resources group based in WA.

This role is available on a residential or FIFO basis and working within a well established nickel site.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide training programs to all management, employees and contractors
* Assess and monitor all training requirements
* Assist in the development, training and management of Underground Operations equipment
* Develop and maintain training plans and programs
* Clearly deliver training and inductions to new and existing employees
* Provide support to the OH&S Coordinator when required

A strong desire to promote a safe working environment and culture is essential, together with excellent communication, computer and problem solving skills.

Essentially you will posses relevant experience in the underground mining industry and its machinery. You will be experienced in the role of Training/Safety Officer and have a Formal Certificate 4 in OH&S training.
