This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your wealth of skills and experience to the table. We are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Specialist to fulfil the role of Health, Safety, Environmental & Training Superintendent. Reporting directly to the Registered Manager your primary task will be to:-
* Assist in the development and fostering of a proactive safety culture at the mine site
* Manage the site Health & Safety Management System & Training Systems, including the collecting, collation and reporting of site safety statistics
* Manage and coordinate CONTAM testing and reporting requirements
* Assist in accident investigations, audits and safety meetings to achieve positive outcomes in order to achieve reduction of injuries and incidents and lost injury duration rate
* Assist and develop emergency preparedness for the site and ensure there is a high standard of medical assistance
* Facilitate learning and understanding of,as well as implementation of safety programs by site staff and contractors

In order to apply for this role you should have:-
* Have a qualification in OH & S & Cert IV in Training & Assessment
* Demonstrated ability to communicate with personnel in a range of mining occupations
* Excellent written & presentation skills
* Minimum 5 years of relevant recent Mine site experience

The position is offered on a 9/5 roster and offers a competitive salary.
