Our client, one of the worlds biggest and most successful mining and exploration companies, is seeking an experienced drilling supervisor to join their mine planning projects team.

In this role you will enjoy the challenge of supervising and motivating the geotechnical/hydro geological drilling team. Your superior people skills and strong leadership abilities will encourage productivity through the development of hard working, cooperative culture where high standards are consistent.

Key responsibilities include:
* Manage and supervise the drilling team and their performance on a day to day basis, ensuring efficiency and highest performance standards are achieved
* Supervise all field activities and promote and practice a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible working ethic amongst team members that will contribute to a safe and incident free work place
* Completion of regular safety audits and job hazard analysis reports
* Assist in development of the mine planning projects budgets
* Develop and maintain field activities data logs
* Maintenance of cost database
* Use of CMS for field activities

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years experience in the mining & exploration industry. Ideally, supervisory experience in geotechnical/groundwater or mining activities would be favorable.
