We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer/Underground Alternate Manager to join this medium sized operation. The vacancy has arisen due to an internal transfer and it is suited to those with proven experience in a similar position or those looking to make the transition to the next level. The role will cover all standard duties associated with the management of an underground operation, including:
* Ensuring all OH&S requirements are achieved
* Cost management & improvement
* Development of a 'team oriented' culture based on clear communication and organisational structures
* monitor & implement required training & development initiatives
* Ensure production targets are achieved
* Comply with all relevant statutory requirements.

The role will require a Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (Mining) & WA 1st Class Ticket. It is also expected that you will offer a significant amount of experience within various underground environments.
