Your key accountabilities will include:
* Maintaining integrity of all data and systems on community consultation relating to BHP Billiton Iron Ore expansion projects for environmental approval;
* Managing centralized data control and maintenance of communication materials necessary for community consultation;
* Supporting production and distribution of materials required for site based teams to deliver effective community consultation and engagement on expansion plans;
* Supporting team members and internal customers with timely data and reports as required;
* Providing customer support to ensure compliance with organizational management standards and systems;
* Assisting site-based community liaison staff with data entry, systems and standards training, briefings, consultation facilitation and recording services;
* Reviewing stakeholder database, keeping the Principal Sustainability appropriately informed and assisting with community issues management activities.
Skills and Experience
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, professional systematic approach and advanced multi-tasking capabilities are critical success factors to this role. As a person of integrity, with a thorough attention to detail, will have a strong background in the management of data bases, and demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of applications. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are also desirable.
Experience with risk assessment, managing multiple projects with deadlines, SAP and Microsoft Project will all enhance your suitability for this challenging opportunity.
This position will be for a fixed term of 2 years.
