Marketing Accountant

An exiting and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced and results driven individual to become part of the Marketing Finance team. You will be responsible for the preparation of month-end management accounts; cash management; intercompany account management; preparation of operational cost reports including VAT returns. You will also maintain SAP ledgers; financial control and procedures in liaison with principal partner and internal and external auditors; management of expenses, customer and vendor databases and maintenance of SOX procedures and documentation.

The purpose of this role is to provide Financial Management and reporting for Energy Coal Limited.

As a suitable candidate, you will have a B Degree in Accounting or Economics with a minimum of 3-5 years experience at a supervisory level. You must be computer literate with a working knowledge of SAP and the MS Office Suite. You will be self motivated and have the ability to work autonomously, have the ability to at all levels; be able to work under pressure; be able to plan, implement and control financial activities for optimal results; display basic practical problem solving skills and analytical ability.
