Project Leader

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and motivated Project to join the Capital Projects team at the Yabulu Refinery, near Townsville. You will play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of Capital projects ranging in value up to $20M where you will be responsible for all facets of managing the project safely and efficiently.

Your accountabilities will extend to include the management of the performance of a portfolio of projects through the Feasibility and Execution Phases, including the preparation of project documentation and KPIs for capital submissions. In addition to these tasks you will be involved in the development and implementation of execution strategies, engagement and coordination of contractors and EPCM providers, monitoring and management of project performance such that the desired outcomes are achieved up to and including project handover and closeout.

Able to work independently and in a team, your tertiary qualifications and experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering or similar are complemented by your knowledge of project management principles. As an outstanding communicator, your ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and to identify and solve problems will see you succeed in this role.
