Job Description -- Provides direction and management for every phase of a major program to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
• Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the area project duties from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract close-out.
• Supervises the development of budgets and schedules, manages performance, reports progress, and initiates action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications.
• Resolves problems and coordinates the final engineering scopes of work in conjunction with Engineering/Operations Manager for turnover to Client.
• Provides leadership for the development and maintenance of a high performance project team.
• Responsibility for Program/Project execution, ensuring that Program/Project is delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety and to Client and employer’s performance expectations.
• Assigns manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals. Anticipates and resolves various problems such as changes in scope, slippage of schedules, and budget overruns.
• Interfaces with the client; presents regular formal reports and/or as needed; keeps Company management informed and current at all times.
• Ensures that Company labour relations policies are applied consistently.
• Represents the Company in the field and ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures. May act as official liaison with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives.
• Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Qualifications -- Typically possesses 12+ years experience in the following functions: project management, engineering, construction, project controls and procurement.
• Thorough understanding of the scope of work covered by the prime contract. Has demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering and procurement, and other project related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies. Broad knowledge of industry standards.
• Ability to manage large projects and to take corrective action, monitor work, manage conflict, and coordinate the activities of others, including joint ventures, alliances and consortiums.
Special Requirements --
• Fluent written and spoken Russian and English are mandatory.
Summary - Terms and Conditions --
• Work Week - 50 hrs per week, excluding lunch break.
• Salary Compensation - Annual Base Salary + 60% Uplift, minus local Tax. Paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
• Tax Rate - Statutory Tax Deduction will apply. You will be required to apply for Residency status to take advantage of the Resident tax rate is currently 15%. Non-resident tax rate is currently 30% (or higher). You are responsible for all taxes and tax returns in your home country, or elsewhere, as appropriate.
• Rotational Leave - 6 weeks on site / 2 weeks off (travel time included in the ‘off’ period).
• Air Fare - Least cost economy air fare for Mobilisation and Demobilisation and for all Rotational leave travel. R&R tickets currently purchased by employee and reimbursed through expense procedure.
• Mobilisation Allowance - Paid to cover the following: Travel time, en-route ground expenses/transportation costs, costs associated with storage of personal items at Point of Origin, excess luggage, any costs associated with mobilisation processing (e.g. photos, passport renewal, postage etc.). Purchase of appropriate personal winter clothing, costs associated with small furnishings, kitchen utensils and other miscellaneous costs for apartment in Ukraine. Travel costs associated with Mobilisation Medical. Costs associated with any tax advice/assistance required for home country tax liability/tax return. All other miscellaneous expenses.
• Demobilisation Allowance - subject to satisfactory completion of assignment. Allowance paid to cover the following: Travel time, en-route ground expenses/transportation costs, temporary living/settling-in costs, excess luggage. Costs associated with any tax advice/assistance required for home country tax liability/tax return. All other miscellaneous expenses.

• Accommodation - Initially, hotel accommodation to be provided for a maximum period of 30 days whilst apartment accommodation is sourced.
• Local Transportation - Transportation to and from accommodation to office is provided by Company. All other in-country work associated transportation is provided by Company.
• Pre Mobilisation Medical - Reimbursed by Company. Employment offer conditional upon a satisfactory Medical
• Local Public Holidays - Employees are required to work on local Public Holidays.
• Work Permit - Offer of Employment is conditional upon obtaining a Work Permit for Employee
• Business Travel - Any Business travel will be in accordance with Company Policy.
