Our client is a wholly owned, private company operating in all areas of civil engineering, construction and associated activities. The nature of works includes the construction of dams, roads, airstrips, port and coastal facilities, pipelines, railway infrastructure, bridge and concrete works, bulk earthworks, mining rehabilitation and minor industrial construction.
They are seeking the services of a Project /Construction Manager who has 5-10 years in civil or related project management with experience in civil infrastructure, government works, subdivisional structural civil works, mining or rail infrastructure or main road works.
Primary Duties and responsibilities include:
• Manage the project ensuring compliance with specifications and contract conditions, liaising with authorities, clients and agents as required.
• Manage HSEQ and promote a continuous improvement culture.
• In conjunction with the Corporate HR Manager, recruit and develop staff for the project and motivate to achieve targets
• Manage the resource availability and productivity by effective process planning
• Develop, review and implement actions to deliver the project to budget
You will have a Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction. In return an attractive salary package will be negotiated based on experience.
