Our Client is a ‘Blue Chip’ Major mining company, currently looking to recruit a suitably qualified Superintendent – Mine Planning for its copper operations in QLD, Australia. This is an exciting leadership role and affords the opportunity for the right person to make a constructive impact on both short and long term business success as well as lead and develop a full team of professionals.

The Superintendent role will report to the Manager – Operations Coordination. The successful applicant will be accountable for effective development and implementation of short to long term planning, mine design, survey and ring design across the company’s Mines. Undertaking work relating to business improvement and involvement in business planning, scheduling, tactical and strategic business opportunities are all key responsibilities of the role.

All roles are residential in Mount Isa, Queensland, a large and vibrant regional city surrounded by beautiful scenery, lakes and national parks. Mount Isa is a great place to live and work, offering a high standard of living for families and singles alike, with good quality housing, great weather and plenty of activities to occupy even the most active of people.
