-The Company
Our Client is a publicly held resource company based in Canada and is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company has experienced excellent growth over the last few years, becoming a leading African gold producer with a market capitalisation of over USD1.5Bn. The Company has two key projects are in West Africa, where the Company also holds an extensive exploration portfolio.
- The Job
The Company is setting up an office in the UK Midlands and they wish to employ a UK-based geologist or senior geologist. Your key responsibilites will involve project evaluation - the review of mineral exploration data, desktop exploration, site investigation and extensive travel globally.
- Requirements
You will hold a degree, in one of the geosciences, with a minimum of 10-15 years work experience, some of which should have involved work in Africa. Experience of economic geology will be an advantage.
- Remuneration
The company offers a competitive UK-based salary, with big company benefits, including bonus and options schemes.
