Our client is seeking a high calibre senior executive to bring considerable experience of large-scale infrastructure, works operations and services skills to this significant Queensland based national organisation. THE POSITION
Working with the Board and Senior Executive Team you will have responsibility for the leadership and operations of the group, facilitating the creation of new leading edge service standards, formulating and implementing strategic and operational plans.
You will develop, articulate and implement a clear vision and benchmarks for the group’s performance and future needs, driving new levels of competitive advantage, living and breathing the organisation’s re-focused corporate values.
With an exceptional amount of assets, resources and over 6000 staff at your disposal, this role will require strong, contemporary management and leadership skills to shift both practices and culture to the next level.
An executive remuneration package is on offer for this key role, reflecting the importance and scale of the responsibilities to the organisation.
THE PERSON
You will have outstanding contemporary interpersonal, communication and people management skills, coupled with an uncompromising commitment to safety and the environment.
Have a strong background of success in construction and maintenance works operations, from industries such as Civil Infrastructure Construction, Rail, Aviation and Maintenance Works, covering Civil, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Share a passionate belief in driving the delivery of services, quality customer service and fostering organisational values, whilst maximising efficiency of operational delivery.
Have sound business acumen, solid negotiating abilities and an exceptional talent to maintain effective long term relationships within government, corporate and community arenas at the highest levels as well as effectively influence at board and senior management level.
