We are urgently looking for two civils utility managers to work for a major civils contractor who are about to embark on one of Sydney's largest rail clearways projects.
The civils utility managers will be responsible for ensuring that all the relevant authorities are working in conjunction with the contract team to ensure that construction work doesn't interfere with important utilities such as water, electricity, gas and communications lines. This will involve liaising at all levels to ensure that water pipes aren't drilled through, power cables aren't cut etc..... Full detailed maps of utilities in the construction zone will be procured and it will be necessary to work with the management team to ensure that nothing is adversely affected by the delivery of the project.
