Mine Manager

Our client, an Australian based gold producer and explorer is seeking a Mine Manager for their Victorian based gold mine.

The successful applicant will be responsible for achieving sustainable gold production through the strategic development and implementation of mine plan. The provision of strong leadership skills is required to provide direction, undertaking and achievement of mine activity in a timely, cost effective and safe operating manner.

You will be required to have:

* Degree in Mining Engineering
* 1st Class Mine Managers qualification or eligibility to obtain
* Minimum of 5 years mining experience in either a senior or leadership role in underground metalliferous mining
* 5 to 10 years experience within mine technical processes, maintenance processes, scheduling and planning processes.

It is desirable that you would have:

* Cost modelling and budget building skills, financial management and demonstration of contract management skills.
* Demonstrated experience in business improvement processes, OH&S and within business improvement processes.
