Our client has a vacancy for a Maintenance Coordinator to assist in the optimisation of the maintenance process in its Process Plant through the development of and implementation of maintenance systems that will improve and sustain process plant availability. Key areas of accountability will also include safety and hands-on maintenance training.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Development of maintenance planning systems and strategies
* Development of maintenance policies and procedures
* Monitoring and assessing current shop floor maintenance practices and providing improvement strategies.
* Ensure accurate recording of all maintenance activities and equipment performance data
* Maintenance budget preparation and cost control;
* Having a key input into maintenance spares planning.
* Ensure that relevant training practices are in place to enable world best practice and provide hands-on training as required.

To be considered for the role you will have:

* A relevant trade and 10+ years experience in a mining fixed plant maintenance environment.
* Experience in the development and implementation of maintenance systems.
* Prior experience in the development and implementation of training systems.
* Previous experience in a developing country will be very highly regarded.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills

This role is offered on a FIFO basis with details of remuneration and other benefits on offer to be discussed at interview.
