There are opportunities to have a key role in the mid-sized office of a premier engineering consulting company, and to live in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. Vector Engineering, Inc., is looking for highly motivated senior engineers capable of managing several independent projects. Successful candidates will have demonstrated communication, engineering, and organizational skills and will be able to perform civil engineering design services for landfill and mining clients. In addition, this position will market/develop additional clients, prepare comprehensive proposals, and manage projects to completion. Entry-level engineers must have or be on track to obtain a Professional Engineering License. They will follow a career path in civil design, field services, and materials inspection and testing in the solid waste and/or mining industries.
We are headquartered in Nevada County in the city of Grass Valley, California. Nevada County is a mid-sized county with the advantages of a diverse intellectual community and outdoor recreation at your door step. The Yuba River flows through the heart of the County and can be accessed via many different remote locations. The County extends to the Sierra Nevada Mountains with year-round activities such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, skiing and many others. Skiing is less than an hour away and the fishing is even closer. The Sierra foothills climate brings all four seasons.
