A Project Manager (Mechanical) required for a number of major infrastructure upgrades and capital construction over next 5+ years at Melbourne Airport With over 23 million passengers and in excess of 180,000 aircraft movements per year, Melbourne International Airport is one of Australia's premier transport hubs. Now embarking on a massive 5+ year, $1.5b+ infrastructure development program commencing with the $330m international terminal expansion, Melbourne Airport is set to become one of the largest construction projects in Victoria. They are set to deliver major upgrades to terminals, facilities, baggage systems and drainage, as well as new construction of runways, roadways, multi-storey buildings, car parks, business parks, freight facilities and office complexes.

In order to facilitate such rapid growth, Melbourne Airport (Australia Pacific Airports Corporation) is seeking aMechanical Project Manager to join their talented, professional and dedicated team, placing you at the forefront of major projects across a wide range of areas. You will engage with consultants, major contractors and other stakeholders, as well as managing client relationships and significant capital budgets.

To be successful in this role, you will have formal tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and considerable experience managing significant mechanical projects. Ideally you will have exposure to clients at senior levels, and have managed detailed capital budgets. Property development expertise or client-side project management will be highly regarded.
