About our Client
Our client is a global manufacturer of heavy mechanical rotating products. They have shown steady growth over the last 50 years and this has been based on a reputation for engineering design and long-term reliability of their product range. They have a current requirement for a project manager to strengthen their teams and deliver manufactured solutions from sales to commissioning.

Job Description
Your role as part of a small project group is to manage the supply of products to the customer under increasingly rigorous contractual terms. This involves both technical/engineering specifications as well as commercial obligations involving delivery and documentation. Projects involve customers as end users directly or through major engineering houses to the end users and are located throughout Australia as well as offshore throughout Asia Pacific region.

The Successful Applicant

You will have:

Experience within a project or contract management role and have an understanding of processes involved in contract management delivery
Experience with supply contracts running over a period of months with several running simultaneously
Ability to negotiate both externally with customers as well as internally within the business functions to achieve delivery
Exposure to planning systems integrating into manufacturing, in particular SAP
Exposure to heavy engineering based manufacturing applied to processing industries would be an advantage
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant trade background that has progressed to Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
