Our client is an investment banking firm which provides financial advisory services to the mining and minerals industry.
As VP M & A, you will play an active role in the evaluation of M&A opportunities and in preparing and presenting those opportunities to management and clients. In addition, you will be responsible for implementation of many aspects of client M&A transactions; apply both your financial analytical skills and your interpersonal skills to ensure that our clients? transactions close on a rigid timeline; and as a key member of the M&A team, your contribution will be critical to the continued success of the team which is largely based upon identifying and implementing accretive and strategic M&A transactions for our clients.
You bring 6 - 10 years of work related experience with increasing responsibility in finance, financial analysis, mergers & acquisitions or strategic development. Your experience includes 5+ years of M&A transaction experience including financial and business valuation analysis, due diligence, negotiations and deal closings.
