Contracts Manager - Building

Boasting a substantial portfolio of satisfied clients, our client is a leading name with a great reputation for quality. As part of their continued expansion plan we have been asked to source a Contracts Manager to head their Melbourne based team to ensure the successful delivery of this significant project. This role will require you to work with the management team to help deliver different sections of the project within specific time frames.
This role would include:
? Administration of corporate office and project wide subcontracts
? Providing support services to operations staff to ensure effective contract administration
? Assisting operations staff as appropriate in commercial matters including claims, contractual issues and disputes
? Ensuring that all significant contract risks and opportunities are identified and develop strategies with senior management to manage these
? Ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in a manner that optimises financial position of the project.
? Provide advice on modifying contracts as required
? Formulate/review and deliver training in the procurement process and contact administration skills.
To undertake this role successfully, it is essential that you:
? Have previous experience in Contract Management related project natures
? A work history involving contract management experience
? Excellent communication skills

An attractive salary package including site allowance will be given to you as well as project allowance, relocation, and a vehicle will be offered to the successful applicant and this will be based on your level of experience.
