Control Systems Project Manager

Project Manager- Control Systems will be responsible for managing the control systems teams and providing technical leadership to the entire engineering team. You will work on complete turnkey projects for various industries including Metals, Minerals Processing, Bulk Materials Handling, Mining to name a few.

Project Manager- Control Systems will provide technical expertise, strategic advice in line with the long term operational goals, and provide innovative cost effective solutions to operational problems on client sites. Project Manager- Control Systems will work closely with Principal Engineers and Control Practitioners in other Offices across Australia.

Experience required:

Qualifications Formal qualifications are required in Electrical Engineering ideally majoring in Power and/or Control;
Or Engineering Degree with significant experience in Control Hardware and Software Technologies.
Proven track record providing control team leadership and mentoring to develop the team in areas of a risk to maximise safety, plant and process as a result of our engineering activities.
Leading and delivering turnkey control technology projects;
Assembling Project Teams to meet project requirements
Interfacing with clients, preparing scopes of work, reviewing quality of team tasks & schedules
Managing project budgets & senior consulting roles in control systems projects
Providing accurate reports related to project progress, budget, and technical aspects to client contacts.

You will have a solid Track record Project Managing in some of the following areas:

Scada HMI & PLC development;
Client - Server architectures;
Demonstrated understanding of Application development languages
Operating system configuration and deployment;
Ethernet network implementation;
PLC network implementation; and
Report, specification and training manual writing skills;
You may be required to travel from your home interstate and overseas to carry out work from time to time.
