About our client
Our client is a results-focused consultancy providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. The Mining division in the Perth office is currently undertaking a number of projects with Western Australia's major mining and resources companies.

About this position
Working on a large Greenfield iron ore project, the Construction Manager will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all infrastructure and construction objectives are met and completed on time and within budget. You will be in charge of the implementation and management of all infrastructure works on site including roads, bridges and other major civil works and be accountable for safety performance. In addition, the Construction Manager is responsible for the management of all contractors on site.

The successful candidate
To be successful in this role you will ideally be Degree qualified in civil engineering with at least 10 years site infrastructure and project experience within the heavy mining industry. As this is a key position on the project, you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to liaise across a number of departments. As this is an urgent role, Australian based applicants are preferred.
