Estimating and Proposals Manager

It is our privilege to invite applications for the Brisbane-based executive position of Estimating & Proposals Manager, reporting to our Client's General Manager, Queensland.
Through its 7000 employees, our Client has a superbly successful track record of providing a broad range of electrical, mechanical and telecommunications engineering services to resources, energy, transport, oil/gas/petroleum, technology, water, and environment sectors. They have branches across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.

In this executive position you will manage the planning, coordination, submission and negotiation of all major Tenders and Proposals, across both mechanical and electrical disciplines, for the Queensland business.

Your responsibilities will include:

? all aspects of company tendering
? providing commercial and business development input
? leading major estimating processes
? team leadership to produce outstanding success
? management of associated internal and external relationships
? anticipating, planning and organizing for efficient service provision
? communication and negotiation processes
? policy development, collaboration & implementation for estimating & proposals

You will need to have a relevant tertiary degree and be a seasoned estimating/proposals manager, ideally with more than 15 years of experience in an engineering, contracting or project management environment. It is likely that you will possess traits such as management strength, team player, change tolerance, perseverance, and resilience.
