Mill Operations Superintendent BC, Canada
Reporting to the General Manager, the Mill Operations Superintendent will be responsible for the efficient operation and metallurgy of a 50,000 tonnes per day plant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a superintendent in a copper/gold processing plant as well as a sound working knowledge of SAG mill operations, flotation operations and tailings pumping. Other key qualifications include:
Strong leadership skills
Proven ability to meet safety and production goals
Strong organization and time management skills
Previous experience working successfully in Union environment
Computer literacy skills and Microsoft Office products
Professional designation with associated metallurgical engineering or related degree with membership or eligibility for membership with APEGBC
This position will work a 4 X 3 schedule (Monday through Thursday). Flights are provided from Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Smithers, and Prince George.
