Located in northwest Queensland, our operation boasts an underground mine and processing mill situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville, and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville. POSITION SYNOPSIS

We are now in a position to offer a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager an opportunity to join Cannington and lead a professional and dedicated team. Reporting to the Asset Leader, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of strategic organisational and human resources development focusing on a collaborative high performance culture amongst all members, and ensuring all systems, procedures and guidelines use the principals of best practice and are in place to enhance the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Tertiary qualifications in HR, combined with demonstrated experience in leading a Human Resources team in a mining or heavy industrial environment will be highly regarded. You will have a strong understanding of business management principals, and excel in interpersonal relations management.

Your ability to assume responsibility and lead by example in all aspects of HR will be essential. You will foster creativity and innovation, as well as drive further development within your team.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with your qualifications and experience, will apply. This position is a 5/2 roster based from Townsville incorporating 3 days on site at Cannington Mine per week. A relocation package to Townsville can be discussed with the successful candidate.
