Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor - Mills

Our client is an expanding London-based mining company focused on identifying, acquiring, developing and operating mineral resource projects worldwide. They are currently seeking the services of an experienced Mechanical Foreman for their gold mining operation located in the tropical and scenic surroundings of Guinea.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

* Leadership of the multinational mechanical maintenance team
* Process plant infrastructure, including Crushing, Conveyors, SAG & Ball Mills
* Gravity gold recovered through a Knelson concentrator,
* Pre-leach thickening, leach and absorption onto carbon CIL circuit
* Elution and electrowinning using a split AARL elution system
* Smelting to produce doré bullion

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following:

* Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years supervisory, mining and mineral processing experience
* Computerised Maintenance Management Systems experience
* Mentor, coach and train personnel (Train the Trainer)
* Strong communication skills, internally and externally

This position is offered on an attractive single status FIFO roster to POH. A competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience will be offered to the successful candidate, along with access to the swimming pool, supermarket, cable TV, internet and a clinic with Expat doctors.

The Company encourages young, enthusiastic mechanical fitters with Grinding Mills experience to apply - overseas experience not essential.
