Our client, a global ASX listed mining house boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge across a variety of metals and minerals and is dominating numerous continents.
Having acquired more market share within Australia, their local presence has been elevated in line with the rest of their global business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day running of all the transactional functions of both finance and HR including but not limited to;

Accountability for all activities relating to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
Preparation of budgets, reports and forecasts including commentary
Providing financial support in regard to M&A activities
Continuous improvement of all processes procedures and methods to ensure effectiveness
Review and monitor indicators whilst seeking opportunities to improve levels of service across all functions
Managing the global mobility process for all employees joining the region
Responsible for a team of 15

With excellent communication and strong leadership skills you will have demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing a multi disciplined team. You will contribute to project goals by participating in reviews of the operational area and engaging in analysis and improvement of its operations including exposure and travel to overseas sites.

Professionally qualified the successful candidate will have significant experience within a large global organisation and be seeking to realise their skill set in this dynamic environment.
Mining experience will be very highly regarded.
