As the renowned specialist in their market our client is in the enviable position of continuing to specialize without diluting their brand by chasing piece-meal work and competing in "lowest price wins" type tenders. With new projects recently won and the even more company growth expected for the remainder of 2009 this bridge contractor will provide security, challenge and rewards for an experienced Bridges Project Manager

Recently they have joined forces with another specialist contractor and have been awarded a very large QLD Main Roads project to add to their list of current Main Roads joint venture success stories. The majority of work is in SEQ although they do operate strongly throughout other parts of the Sunshine State so flexibility and some travel may be required. This particular project will be on a FIFO (10/4) roster out of Brisbane

As a business, their flexibility, openness and environment of true reward and recognition has allowed them to not only attract many of the industries finest in engineering, but retain, and develop (through constant promotion) arguably the most formidable team in Brisbane. With a minimum of 5 engineers, 10 site supervisors plus work crew reporting in to them the successful Project Manager will have experience in leading teams and delivering work on time and within budget.

What you will need:
10 years plus Bridge Project Manager experienceTop or Mid Tier Australian Civil Contractor experienceProven Success on Main Roads projectsDegree or equivalentProven Structures Construction experience- wharfs, bridgesProject Management experience on structures projects valued >25 millionThis is an immediate vacancy so don't delay.
