My client is one of Australia's leading engineering contractors. Their Civil Engineering portfolio boasts a truly multidisciplinary track record in Roads, Bridges, Industrial, Dams, Mining, Water, Rail, Airports and Marine.

Due to internal promotion, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take over a major Road & Bridges contract due for completion 2011.

Major D&C experience is a must and Alliance / JV exposure would be a definite bonus in terms of future opportunities beyond this project.

As a minimum, you will have a Civil Engineering degree and over 15 years experience of major Australian infrastructure contracts; of this 7-10 years as a Project Manager with total operational and commercial control of schemes up to $200m working for one of the majors / mid tiers.

Reporting to a State Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving a 40+ technical team as well liaising with stakeholders, government representatives, clients and other external third parties.
