As an openly recognised leader within their field of operations, our clients structured growth has lead them to a market leading position and need to now add another layer of effective management within their Corporate operation.
They delivering solutions to private and public sector clients, by having in-house technical capabilities combined with delivery specialists allowing them to provide smart solutions. Due to their capacity and broad ability, they are finding more projects are being requested to be bid and delivered via Alliance contracts. The scope of your position will broadly entail the analysis, optimisation and assessment of Alliance RFT's for suitability of Partners and key members of both the bid and delivery teams.

Reporting to a National Manager you will have excellent construction experience and demonstrate strong management skills. You will revel in an environment that requires you to be both strategic and hands-on. Critically you will demonstrate an affinity for becoming an Alliance employee as opposed to your home organisation, nurturing strong industry networks and form long-standing client relationships. You must formulate a non-adversarial but assertive approach and utilise business and people management skills to assess capability, suitability and sustainability of Alliance team members in order to deliver all goals.

Your remit will entail high level pre-construction process management, project assessment, development and management of the Alliance team (including formulation of the Alliance and sub-Alliances), optimising and directing the management on Alliance Boards whilst being aware of the performance of Alliance commercially and contractually.

Although employed by the Contractor, it is essential you realise that it is a joining together of Client, Consultants, Specialists and Contractors as an Alliance providing strategic leadership, forward thinking and a school of thought that maximises opportunities

Key to the role is demonstrating you are a career oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills, an ability to build and foster outstanding performance and relationships within the project team (direct and indirect reports) and Stakeholders and utilise the experience of the Executive Management team to develop your knowledge. Essentially you will have experience of working at senior level within Construction Alliance Contracts in pre-construction and delivery.

You are justifiably proud of your proven management capability and extensive construction background and enjoy the practicality of this industry. While not essential, qualifications in Civil Engineering / Construction and/or Engineering will be well regarded.
