Our client is a gold producer with assets in the United States, Mexico and Australia and development projects in Canada and Chile. They envision becoming a million ounce producer and have a strong financial position providing a solid platform for profitable growth.
The company requires a technical services superintendent with the following essential criteria:
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent
High professional and ethical standards
Strong communication skills and report writing
Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and specialist mining software
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in underground mining
It is likely the successful applicant will have the following desirable criteria:
Previous experience in mine planning
Geotechnical experience
NSW Production Managers Certificate of Competency or equivalent
Extensive experience with decline and longhole stoping mining methods in difficult geotechnical domains using mechanised equipment
Experience with Vulcan and Mineworks Planner software
Senior First Aid Certificate
