An exciting opportunity exists for a progressive surveying professional. You will be an integral part of our dynamic technical services team providing surveying solutions to our operations. Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will provide essential survey control for a variety of mining needs, detailed surveys of the mine workings using modern, sophisticated survey equipment, and be responsible for volumes calculations of reportable material movements.

To be successful you will hold or be working towards a recognised survey tertiary qualification, have excellent communication and computer skills including modeling and a strong commitment to a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.

Experience in the following is desirable:

• Trimble total stations:

• Trimble GPS or similar:

• Microsoft Office, Vulcan software

• Open-cut coal mining operations

Norwich Park Mine offers subsidised accommodation, an excellent salary and condition package, including up to 14% Superannuation, salary sacrifice and Employee Share Plan options plus the experience of working with Australia’s largest coal producer.

Candidates will be required to pass a Coal Board Medical and Drug and Alcohol test, and possess a current driver’s licence.
