We currently have a 12 month fixed term vacancy for a Contracts Advisor. As a key member of Norwich Park’s Commercial Department, your role will include:

* Assisting Site with the establishment of contracts for the provision of good and services - from initial tender through to contract implementation.
* Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in contract management and administration.
* Monitoring contractor performance and facilitating contract compliance.
* Mentoring and assisting Contract Superintendents in all contractual issues.
* Minimizing risk exposures in our contracts.
* Optimising the use of contracts in the provision of services to the mine.
* Liaising closely with Contract Officers in Mackay Supply Services.

The successful applicant will have:

* A demonstrated commitment to safety.

* A sound understanding of the contracting process and of contract management and administration.

* A team player with good communication and coaching skills.

* Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant contract experience.

* Initiative and the energy to operate in a climate of continuous improvement

* Strong analytical skills, including issue identification, problem solving and strategy development.

* Effective planning and coordination skills.

* Good computer skills eg. MS Office business programs, SAP.
